About the Role

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking capable and energetic Service Desk Consultants to join our team in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. As a key member of the team, each Service Desk Consultant is required to utilise their customer service and ITIL experience to provide the first technical response for our customers. This role requires a good level of technology skill across a broad range of IT systems including desktop, servers and networking.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure a high degree of administration and ownership of incidents and ticket health to ensure SLA targets are met
  • Investigate and troubleshoot incidents and problems assigned or escalated by monitoring systems or support teams
  • Contribute to root cause analysis as required to address recurring incidents
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities as required
  • Contribute as required to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintain service outcomes are achieved by adhering to correct policies and procedures
  • Work with other senior consultants and managers to facilitate the overall happiness of clients
  • Contribute to improving the company culture

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 12 months previous experience in a similar role – MSP experience will be highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge and experience supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Sound knowledge and experience supporting DNS, DHCP and/or Active Directory
  • Experience supporting Cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365 (Email, SharePoint and Teams)
  • Experience support networking devices – Switches, Routers, Firewalls and/or Wireless Access Points
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Loyalty, honesty and a willingness to show initiative
  • A passion and drive for continuous learning and self-improvement
  • A passion for customer service with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
