About the Role

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking capable and energetic IT Consultants to join our team in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. As a Systems Administrator/Engineer, you will need to have a good understanding of a broad range of IT systems including desktops, servers, networking, storage, virtualisation, backup, support applications, line of business applications to name a few. This highly dynamic role will require you to provide remote and onsite support for our customers – Small, Medium and Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure a high degree of administration and ownership of incidents and ticket health to ensure SLA targets are met
  • Investigate and troubleshoot incidents and problems assigned or escalated by monitoring systems or support teams
  • Undertake root cause analysis as required to address recurring incidents
  • Provide technical escalation and contribute to pre-sales activities as required
  • Contribute technical expertise as required to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Work with other consultants and managers to facilitate the overall happiness of clients
  • Contribute to improving the company culture

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years previous experience in a technical support (systems/network administrator) of technologies such as Microsoft (including 365), Cisco, Fortinet, Citrix, VMWare, Storage Technologies, and Veeam
  • Possess a broad knowledge of network and security administration with a focus on vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet
  • Implementation and support of Cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365 (Email, SharePoint, and Teams) and Azure.
  • Implementation and support of Teams Voice
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience supporting hardware platforms such as IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, DELL, Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet and Pure Storage
  • Demonstrable strong problem-solving skills and the ability to show initiative to ensure technical problems are managed efficiently and effectively
  • A passion and drive for continuous learning and self-improvement
  • A passion for customer service with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
