Pacific Hotel Brisbane (formerly The Urban Brisbane) is a 4-star property and is centrally located just a short stroll from the CBD.  The mandate from the new management team was simple – improve the overall guest experience through rebranding and committing to major refurbishment and technology projects while providing IT security systems and support.


Pacific Hotel Brisbane boasts modern and luxurious rooms providing stunning views, private balconies and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel is also home to The Gazebo bar and restaurant, spoiling guests with delicious buffet breakfasts, a-la-carte menus and 24-hour room service. With the new renovations and upgrades, Pacific Hotel Brisbane is ready to become a leader in the hotel industry; front of house and behind the scenes.


Pacific Hotel Brisbane’s General Manager Andrew Hudson wanted a flawless experience for his clients from the initial booking point to checkout and everything in between. Andrew needed an IT provider that embodied the below criteria:

Integrated Solutions helped Pacific Hotel Brisbane by providing IT security systems and support. This helped improve Pacific Hotel’s knowledge of booking systems, understanding of guest experience, staff productivity and increased overall security.


Integrated Solutions came up with several areas of focus, providing solutions for each:


  • Connectivity – Implement a fast/secure networking backbone to better support essential services (Cisco)
  • Infrastructure – Commission new server/storage to increase capacity and achieve redundancies (Lenovo, IBM, VMWare)
  • Security – Implement a secure and redundant internet gateway, while separating hotel operations and guest services (Cisco)
  • Mobility – Replace the ageing wireless infrastructure to enable guests (and staff) to be more connected (Cisco)
  • Continuity – Implement cloud services (Veeam)


Each point was implemented with a strong project team including Technical Manager Andrew McCartney and consultant Steve Lymbery and Ben Minehan, sales and support team Suzi Walding, Tamarah Fredericks and Brooke Matthews and Client Liaison team Phon Nasavanh and Kaitlin Wilson.
